DALLAS, TEXAS (October 31, 2017) Catholic Charities Dallas (CCD), one of the oldest and largest social services organizations in Greater Dallas, today announced Kathy O’Neal has joined as Chief Development Officer, overseeing strategic development, fundraising and marketing efforts supporting the organization’s 26 programs serving more than 38,000 children, families and seniors in need every year.
O’Neal was formerly owner and CEO of Club, Resorts and Hospitality Consulting specializing in member enrollment, member retention and committee and board formation for organizations, associations and private clubs.
“Kathy brings to Catholic Charities a wealth of development and fundraising expertise combined with a passion for serving people in need,” said CCD President and CEO Dave Woodyard. “We’re thrilled to have her experience, passion and leadership talent on the CCD team.”
Prior to Club, Resorts and Hospitality Consulting, O’Neal was Senior Vice President of Member Experience for ClubCorp, a leading owner-operator of private golf and country clubs in North America.
O’Neal served on the Board of Directors for the Executive Women’s Golf Association, The First Tee Board of Dallas, Executive Women’s Roundtable of Dallas and Texas Association of Recreational Organizations. She has twice been named Most Prominent Women in the Club Industry by Boardroom Magazine, the official magazine of the Club Managers Association of America.
O’Neal holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. She is married and has two children and two grandchildren.
